UX/UI Designer

The Role:

As our new UX/UI Designer, you’ll wear many hats. From turning complex problems into streamlined user journeys, to creating visually pleasing designs that drive conversions, you’ll be our go-to for all things design.

You’ll collaborate with our marketing wizards to create, refine, and execute design strategies that elevate our client’s online presence, as well as our own.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Conceptualise original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex roadblocks.
  • Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
  • Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance and optimise the user interface.
  • Maintain and enhance our portfolio of domains by continuously improving UX/UI design.

Requirements:

  • Proven UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, amongst other visual design and wire-framing tools.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
